Three Favorite Gothic Cathedrals & An Outfit Post

As the semester is winding down and I'm packing up my books I stumbled on my copy of Gold Was the Mortar: The Economics of Cathedral Building by Henry Kraus, a great book about the building of Gothic Cathedrals, so today's post on my three favorite Gothic cathedrals is a little bit inspired by that. I've posted before about Goths and Gothic architecture, so here are my favorite Gothic cathedrals:

Laon Cathedral

The ox sculptures you can see reference the miraculous building of the Cathedral, which you can read more about here.

Sainte Chapelle

Reims Cathedral

Thanks for reading! What is your favorite architectural building, Gothic or not?

Bonus outfit post: Yesterday was my school's annual spring festival thing, so I got dressed up and got to cuddle a bunny. Good day overall, here's what I wore:

Dress: Forever21
Belt: DIY
Shrug: Torrid
Socks: Sockdreams
Necklace: Unsure

And the bunny I got to hold! Such a cutiepie.

  1. That bunny is so cute I might cry. Damn hormones! But loving the outfit, everyone likes lace. Nice pictures, I visited the Notre Dame also, and I think the beauty of it will stay with me forever!

  2. Oooh, that bunny is so cute. I'm not very much into architecture, but I've always found these homes in Rotterdam fascinating:
