Keychains are a cute way to Goth up something you use daily without advertising your Gothness to the world. Think about it: how many people have really looked closely at your keys? Unless you already have a really neat keychain, the chances are it isn't high. So, if you're a student with a strict dress code or a Corp Goth keeping all your spooky under wraps, keychains are a good way to inject some cute spookiness into your life (bonus: they're usually super cheap.)
My keychain isn't really very Goth, it's more a dedication to Scotland. The charms are a lion, a thistle, a saltire, a plate that says "Scotland" and a can of Irn Bru.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites that you can buy right now:
Do you guys have any special spooky keychains? What's on them?
A skelanimals bear! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! I love skelanimals :)
DeleteMy key chain is a little voodoo doll with pins in his heart. :3
ReplyDeleteI love the skeleton and coffin keychains! Though I'd rather wear the coffin as a ring or a necklace. My keychains aren't really goth either - I have a matryoshka from my Belarussian friend and a plastic imitation of diamond attached to my keys :)
ReplyDeleteI have the same Jack key chain! I have one that says "I am not weird, I am gifted!" that is from forever ago, and a Halloween mini hand sanitizer with little ghosts on them.
ReplyDeleteI have a large skull keychain :D I think it's made of porcelain and when I saw it in the shop I *had* to have it. Bonus: my toddler adores it and can be amused by it for a few minutes in a pinch.
ReplyDeleteShe kisses it XD
I have a metal coffin key chain that's designed as a cigarette holder, but since I don't smoke, I just stash other small things in it.
ReplyDeleteI have a black cat key chain that has a button. If you push it, the eyes light up and he meows. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a key chain but I do love my Dracula Spoo-key! http://www.jetkeys.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=3_229&product_id=558
