Monday at my school is "Wear your college?" day, when all of the seniors wear an article of clothing from their college to show where they're going. In preparation for that, I decided to take some pictures of me wearing the t-shirt and coordinating it. Tell me what you think!
Cardigan: Thrifted
Skirt: Fanplusfriend
Belt: Torrid
Shoes: Payless
Rings: Various
Earrings: Spencer's
Jeans: Old Navy
Belt: Torrid
Boots: Demonia
Rings: Various
Earrings: Spencer's
Jacket: Camden
Skirt: Torrid
Wrist cuffs: Victorian Trading Co.
Knee Socks: Otakon
Boots: Rivethead
Rings: Various
Earrings: Spencer's
What do you think? Is it possible to coordinate a college t-shirt in a suitably spooky way?
No 1 is cute, but the shirt looks a bit crumpled (sry, english isn't my mother tongue)maybe you could add tights and just stuff the shirt hem in them to keep it in place. And it makes you legs look faboulous.
ReplyDeleteNo 2: I'd switch the belt for a studded one at hip hight.
No 3: I know, it's clichée... but you look like Abby from NCIS XD That makes it my favourite.
My idea:
Take pants and belt from pic 2 (or some high waisted pair), now stuff the shirt into the pants and add belt, slip in shoes from pic 1 and throw over jacked from pic 3. For perfection add a red alice band.
Thanks for the suggestions! If I plan on wearing the college t-shirt in the future, other than on the day, I'll definitely go off and buy tights that match the shirt and an alice band. :)
DeleteI agree with Ria, your legs look amazing in No. 1!
ReplyDeleteFor No. 3, the short-skirt-and-socks combination dissects your legs a bit strangely (and eyes are drawn immediately to the lightest/brightest area, your thighs) so I would suggest full tights to create a streamlined look.

Definitely a fair point. I have to go out and buy a pair of full length red and black striped tights anyway, mine are torn beyond repair, so I'll try this outfit again with those.
DeleteThank you! :D
I like look number 1 best =]
ReplyDeleteI agree that you look like Abby in the last one though and that's no bad thing!
Aww, thank you very much! I'm inclined to agree with you about the number one look, which is more than likely what I'll end up wearing to school. :)
DeleteI like number one or number three, but with full tights. I don't think that school shirts can or should be used for an every day goth look, but for a special school thing like this it's fun to try and make something so normal work with a gothy outfit. I had to do the same thing at orientation for my school.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. It doesn't exactly scream Goth, but this little outfit post was fun because it was so out of the ordinary. What did you do for your orientation/
DeleteI personally like the third outfit best, you really look like Abby in it!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you very much! That's very sweet of you to say. :)
Delete#1 is gorgeous :) your legs look great x
ReplyDeleteEep, thank you! I rather liked them in that picture myself. :)
DeleteYou know what? I actually quite like all of them! Even though it's a college top, the way you've put it all together looks really good! Xxx :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I'm glad you like them. :D
Deletethe first picture gets my vote, love how the shoes match the shirt!
ReplyDeleteI love the last outfit :D
